Sea Fan requirements?

I was looking at getting one of these sea fans:

I noticed the retail store in Rhinelander had some a while ago, and they were really cool looking and colorful. They can be under 250w 14k DE halides, correct? Then you will have to supplement it with a filter feeding food? Do you think marine snow once a day is enough filter feeding food for this sea fan to grow and keep it's color?

Thank you for your inquiry. Sea Fans usually require low to moderate amounts of light, so your existing 250w 14k DE metal halides would be sufficient. These invertebrates should be fed several times a week with a variety of filter feeder foods, such Marine Snow, PhytoPlan and live or frozen baby brine shrimp.
