Sea Goblin's here!

That's a good sign.

Back awhile, we picked up a "pair" (collected together) of red didactylus, and altho we lost one in fairly short order, the fish we considered "male" would actually display and posture if we came too close to the "female". It was really interesting. I think we have some pix or a vid someplace...

This is how he would display for his woman...

This is how he would display for me when I went near his woman.

For his woman his pecs were nice and rounded and his color was paled out. When he came near me when I was next to his woman, he would fold in the tips of his fins, for a lack of a better way to say it. His pecs reminded me of the shovel on the front of the really big snow plows. There was definitely a different stance. She was sick when he received her and she only lived a couple of days. When she died, he never threatened me again.

Those were a really cool pair, it's too bad one of them didn't make it.

Yeah...it was one of those weird, unexplained losses, but the one fish was never "quite right" from the start.

She was sick right out of the bag.

Can I give another thumbs up to DD. The "pair" was more expensive than just the regular price of one Inimicus x two. Instead of refunding half the price for the one that died, they gave me MORE than half because the pair was then broken up.

I love DD and their customer service.

Dang :-(

I hope the male isn't sick as well. I don't think he's mourning. Who else have you had pass or went missing lately? Anyone?

Oh sorry, don't want to hijack.

I don't think the male is sick, he's still eating, fed him this morning, the radiata jumped ship and the ambom went mia but all the params in the tank are fine and the rest of the fish are thriving

Well that's good then.

I'm going to highjack my own thread with a pic of one of the high yellow pair I FINALLY managed to get. Shifty little buggers.

That is an awesome looking fish. The second photo of the two goblins is a really nice one as well.
