I GOT A PAIR OF SEA HORSES FROM FL. KEYS. THE MALE WAS GRAVID. HE HAD A HUNDRED BABIES BUT NOW HIS POUCH IS HUGE, BIGGER NOW THAN WITH BABIES. WHAT CAN IDO HE IS NOT OVER BOUYANT SO I DONT THINK ITS AIR BUT MAYBE.IM NEW TO HORSES. PLEASE HELP

Keep a close eye on the bouyancy issues. Most male seahorses will get pregers after their babies are born. He might just be pregnant again. At night, while he is sleeping, see if you can get a nice strong Pen Light and shine from the back side of him, sometimes you can see the eggs or if it is just water.
How the babies doing?
Good Luck

babies are great 3 days old light ones dark ones, feeding newly hatched brine shrimp and trying cyclopeeze how can he get preggy again ..in 3 days

From what your fry are eating, it sounds like you have H. erectus.
Try the cyclopeeze after about two weeks introducing it gradually.

I have not tried this yet, but others like DanU have done this successfully.

on your other questions...

Yes, they will breed within a few days of giving birth.

It is possible that you are seeing the male inflate his pouch as part of the mating ritual. Other than this, it should not be larger than the last couple of days of pregnancy.

Watch your male for the next day or so and see if his pouch gets smaller (which it should).

My male gets pregnant with in a day or 2 from releasing the babys. I have tried to keep him in another tank for a few days after release so that he doesnt get pregnant so fast.

I have never used cyclops. BBS (enriched) then chopped mysis mixed with bbs (heavy on the bbs light on the mysis) then gradually change to more mysis.

Bouyancy problems would be the indicator that something is wrong. If its IGBD then the horse will float. If the whole body including the pouch (puffy tale, pouch and trunk) are swollen could be bacterial - he wont necessarly float, but he cant swim well. If only his pouch is swollen may be new pregnancy or air in the pouch keep and eye on him. Good luck with the fry they are great fun!
