I came across this website for Sea Life Inc. on the web, (http://sealifeinc.net/catalog/index.php) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. I noticed that many of the prices were quite cheap, leading me to question the legitimacy and sustainability of their livestock.

I just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about their harvesting techniques to make sure the Caribbean reefs were not be abused in the acquisition of such cheap livestock.

I too have ordered from them- great service and I've always gotten freebies which is nice. Ken Nedimyer, the owner, has been quite involved with coral (Acropora) restoration and has been an advocate of sustainable collection practices- google his name.

+1. They sell true aquacultured live rock and livestock direct- hence the good prices. The coral restoration foundation Ken runs recently got a federal permit to start an elkhorn nursery in addition to the staghorn nursery already up and running- see http://coralrestoration.org.
