sea swirl Q

ive got a couple questions, can i utilize a sea swirl w/o putting it on a closed loop? Was thinking on my return line?

also on their website they state a certain GPH rate for each model, is that the minimum/maximum flow rate through them?

Sure you can use it for your return. I would imagine the rating is for the maximum gph since a minimum wouldn't matter.

I use two 1" seaswirls for my returns. A 1" pipe from the basement T'ed off to the swirls.
No minimum to worry about, just max.
