Pathogen free? Parasite free I'm sure, but I'm not sure how anyone could guarantee bacteria free... introduce them slowly over the next couple months by introducing the water from the QT tank to the display and vice versa so that cocopuff has the opportunity to build up immunities before she is full on exposed to them, and keep a close eye on her, especially for lesions or bubbles on the skin. Good luck.

Yep, born in 83. Another thing you might want to use on cocopuff's tank while you are introducing the QT water to her is a UV-Sterilizer, provided you can still keep the temp down around 70 with a UV running. Feeding out live shrimp gutloaded with beta glucan to both cocopuff and the erectus in QT a couple times a week should help too.

Nope. Wouldn't be able to keep the temp down. I am at 75 as it is and working hard to keep it there. I would like to add a protein skimmer and afraid that will raise my temp. I think I will add it in a few weeks when it cools down here in Texas.

Try running the skimmer during the lights out period on cooler days. Its beastly hot here now so my guys are on a reverse cycle for lights. This allows me to keep the temp below 74. Tho I can't wait till it cools down as i only get to see them late at night and early morning before I have to turn their light off to keep the tank cool.

good luk with all your new guys. BTW where did you end up ordering from?
