SEAHORSE in a 360?

So I asked 4 "experts" whether I could put a seahorse in my 360 fairly stocked soft coral tank with Tangs, Clownfish, bamboo shark, butterfly fish (in the works)

anyhow...2 of the 4 said YES...the other 2 said HECK NO!
Who is right???

Ask more than 4 experts and I think you'll start hearing more no's than yes's. Were these "experts" by any chance trying to sell you seahorses?

Unless you divide the tank

NO

Tangs are way too violent

Clowns are way too territorial

And sharks.......

No? Just adding my voice to the number of people saying it won't work. Feeding would be a nightmare in that size tank too. Not impossible if the tank was set up for seahorses and other slow eaters, but it sounds like its not. I expect that the biggest problem with that set up is that the seahorse would slowly starve.

for one thing, it would take months to locate a seahorse in a 360 G tank lol !

secondly, shark would eat it.

thirdly, seahorses grow algae on them ... tangs eat that, resulting in them nipping the seahorses.

A 360 G tank? o.o
That'd take forever to find the seahorse I assure you (needle in haystack)
Certain clownfish are aggressive, as well as some tangs (Maroon clowns are one of the more agressive)
The shark would probably swallow the poor thing....
I'd have to say no D: sorry

Many stores who try to sell seahorses will say almost anything because sales come first; be cautious when asking opinions and ask a few others first

my husband had the same opinion of pretty much everyone here....NO!
and yea, i guess they were trying to make a sale by saying it was totally do-able!
i guess we'll have to pass up on the seahorse :(
