Thanks again. I am really loving these horses. They are so active.
Bamm, it's a 60g irregular hexagon. If you are looking to keep a pair it would be possible to do it in a 29g tall. The 4 I have will go into a 90g hexagon tank in June, but for now the 60g is a good home for them. I don't recommend getting any fish or a lot of corals in a seahorse tank. They really need a species dedicated tank. Also, the temp in the tank needs to be under 74 degrees, 69-72 is ideal, so you may need a chiller.
As for flow, they needsoft flow, but they do require good filtration. Seahorses are very dirty fish. So, if you are interested, give me a few months and if they mate and if I can raise the fry, then I should have seahorses in about 5 months.
Chia, you should! I'd trade seahorses for corals.
Karen, LOL, I am a seahorse peasant. I want to come, but I have a 4 year old and a 4 month old now. Maybe I can ask my mom to watch them for me one of these Fridays.
