wow...I dunno. After taking a quick look at your gallery, I'm afraid your stuff is all way too organized and neat. I'm not sure I could handle the feelings of inadequacy compared to my setup I would be experiencing. :o

Nah- It's works pretty darn well but if you want to see the DIY of DIY's, check out some of the Dart skimmers in the DIY forums...Freakin sweet!

HOLY Skimmer's Batman!

Jeeze look at that thing!! it's a beast!

don't tell me your running that on a 29gal tank :) LOL

I'm not even sure where to begin anymore... at this point having two skimmers is working, and you know what they say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"... I think I'm going on hold off on my new skimmer for now.

Is that really you Johnny-5?

Heh- good one JX- Yeah it really was close to $1500. Considering the fact that the Deltec model it's based on is almost $4K, I think it's pretty good :-P. It pulls 3200LPH of air (200 more than the Deltec) and it also has a wetneck with a removable top as well as a collection cup spraydown system so from a cost perspective it was a pretty good value. It doesn't really make sense how much it actually costs to build something like this until you actually do it.
