How do they reproduce? I've for one thats about 14" in diameter, how big will it get and will it just split? it sorta looks like it wants to. Any help would be good.

Thanks,
Ron

I think H. crispa generally reproduce sexually--host anemones are either one sex or the other, not both. That species can get to over 20 inches in diameter. Not that you suggest you are thinking of it, but I personally would not risk fragging an H. crispa. The only pic I've ever seen of H. crispa assexually dividing is a misidentified H. magnifica that's assexually reproducing.

then how i determine male/female, and can i ad another one to the tank?

You should be fine having two in the same tank. I am not aware of any external features that distinguish one gender from another. Usually anemone keepers only know the sex of their anemone once it spawns. If there are eggs apparent then it's female and if the smoky water is free of eggs, then it's a male.

Thanks Garygb, i'll keep my eyes on it and get another anemone in there soon., i'll keep everyone posted, and here is a current pix of the sebae (before it moved to a bigger home)
