So i'm going to get some more lr but i'm wondering how can i secure it to other pieces, i have looked online but i dont see an underwater glue that can be used with live rock, also is their any kind that doesn't pollute the tank?? thanks!!

Underwater epoxy (someone please chime in on the name), Zip Ties, Acrylic rods... many ways to secure it depending on what you want to do with the rock formations...

is the underwater epoxy reef safe as far as chemicals? i found this underwater flue on fosters smith but its not intended for live rock usage

some have had success sandwiching aquamend between thick beads of locktite super glue. I've not tried that method but it makes sense. I've found the aquamend helps in that it takes the shape of how the two rocks meet and so makes it a bit more stable, but it doesn't really adhere. the super glue does, but needs more surface area to bind. the aquamend provides that. both are safe for your tank, but I'd do as much of it as possible before adding fish and inverts. what I have done with success is to drill holes in the rock once I've determined how I want them placed and attach by way of acrylic rod. you can safely construct overhangs that way. as long as you wet the rock with saltwater from time to time you won't get much in the way of die-off
