Seeking Blue 150W HQI

Trying to match my oddball lighting (1/3 HQI, 2/3 T5) situation a little better. My Ushio 14000K is still a little yellower than the T5 array I have on the other side of the tank, and I was wondering if there's a bluer bulb I could use in the 150W HQI pendant to better match my T5s. I don't want to add actinic to the HQI side if I can avoid it. What's the bluest (not purple) 150W HQI bulb you can think of? Thanks in advance!

not too many blue HQI bulbs that I'm aware of....most of the one's listed as 20k really arent blue.. but it also depends on ballast arrangments...on my mag HQI ballast, almost everything will be yellow/white, even 20k.

Never used, but hear 20K bulbs look great without actinic supplimentation.

I'm running 150w HQI with phoenix 14k's. They are crisp white with a touch of blue, definitely no yellow.,and I use no actinic supplimentation. For about the first 50- 80 hrs they are very blue but turn much more white when burned in. I bought 2 110w vho actinics and put it on the tank turned them on and couldn't tell the difference, immediately took the VHO's off.

Although not reall "blue" I really liked the AquaConnect 14k 150watt DE bulbs on my tank.

I have used the 150 watt DE Radium and Ushio 20K. Both are very blue.

Thanks you guys -- I'm going to review the Radium and Ushio 20K bulbs and pick one up. I can always reuse the 14K later...
