SEIOController1.jpg

Nothing like competition to get things going. Now we have tunze, vortech, oceans motions, and seio to choose from. No reason for constant water flow in our tanks now.

PS, around $200 and 6-8 weeks.

Did some reading and got my answer... Not going to hold my breath if I don't get one of these for christmas. For now I will stick with the ole reliable Maxi-Jets, well at least until I am a millionaire or Ice Cap and Tunze final realize their stuff is not made of gold.

they would be much better IMO if they would control each PH seperatly. not sure what the point of them are if they turn them both up and down at the same time.

From the way I read it, it will control both powerheads seperately but it will only control two powerheads.

Edit: I guess I should have read a little further. I guess it will only opereate them together. What's the point of that? :(

I'm not sure they turn up and down at the same time. There is some talk of the controller working with any DC power head. Softstarting makes this controller a big upgrade over old wavetimers.

According to the guy who started the thread, they run simultaneoulsy. Reef Salt's post

Have you inquired about whether they will control them independently of one another? In other words, can you set them to alternate? Or do they reduce flow to 30% on both pumps simultaneously?

Thanks for all the follow up and keeping this thread alive.

You cannot set them to alternate,They will reduce and increase the flow simultaneously.
Thats why I will get 2 controllers.

I just saw that. I also read that it is for seio's only. I hope it doesn't stay at $200 or it won't go far.
