Selling rules

I can't find the rules and I don't sell much on here but do not want to break any of the rules. Does someone have them?

The only rules that I am aware of are:

1) You must have a minimum of 50 posts to sell an item (you barley made it)

2) You must list a price that you are selling your item for.

3) The item that you are selling must be legal.

You also cannot be a dealer/wholesaler i believe.

You also can't sell things for other people, or link to craigslist or ebay. For example, the following would be frowned upon:

Hey guys, I know that I only have 49 (mostly not meaningful) posts, but I'm trying to help my friend sell a dirt bike and some turtles to whoever makes the best offer. Check out this craigslist add for details. http://buffalo.craigslist.org/for/"i like turtles".html

I believe that items for sale must be reef-related, so you can't sell your stamp collection here.

You can post lets say my bro has a tank and wants to get rid of it this is what it has and how much have done it b4 with a light and someone on the boards is doing it right now.. so i dont think that is against the rules..

Only one in there that I haven't seen them take issue with in our club forum so far is the discussion aspect. All other things I've seen them close threads for here.

That sticky should answer most of your questions. The big points are:

• 50 posts, 90 days. And 50 posts means 50 meaningful posts, not posts like "Nice pic!", "Awesome tank!", "Beautiful". We want posts with some meat on their bones .
• No commercial selling. Commercial doesn't mean you have an official business or are making a profit. The best stated way I've seen it is if you're producing something for the primary purpose of making money, consider yourself commercial.
• Reef related. There is ebay and craigslist and lots of other sites for selling your garage sale type items.

And if you have any questions regarding rules or clearing something up regarding a specific situation. Feel free to PM most any RC Staff, RC Staff appreciates it when somebody takes the extra couple minutes to ask and make sure they're clear on the rules rather than the "post and see what happens" approach.
