September Meeting Announcement

Also moving the meeting around so its closer sometimes would be great. I was bummed I had to work. I'm hoping I can make the next one.

Thank you to everyone that got this meeting put together. Great discussion by Icy on water movement and an excellent raffle.
For the most part meeting in the past few months were pretty spotty on attendance (typical for this time of year) But I wanted to point out to the BOD ( I'm sure you guys saw it too) that look what happens when you guys put a few sweet goods in the raffle. People were coming out of the wood work for a chance to win big in Sunday's raffle. After hearing Jeff's talk about the clubs finances and how good were doing theres no reason not to have a few big ticket items in the raffle every month. Ticket sales alone Sunday were more than enough to reimburse the clubs funds. Not too long ago there was a thread asking what the club wanted out of the meeting. A good raffle was one of the items mentioned. Couple that with more interactive discussions like Eric just did and I'd be willing to bet that meeting attendance would rise dramatically. Just my two pesos.

+1 I really liked the raffle prizes! I agree that great discussions plus a little gravy will go along way. I know I'm a new member but I feel that these things will def help attendance. I also like moving around the meeting too. It was def a long ride to the Lutz. But worth it IMHO...

I'm really sorry I couldn't make it. I got completely swamped with work and just couldn't get away. I'm glad it went well and was well attended.
