Our next meeting will be September 9th. 4:00. Rcmike is hosting at his home in Dickson. I'll e-mail directions & more details to the club mailing list the week before the meeting.

At past meetings Mike has hosted, he generously gave away frags from his well stocked tanks. Unfortunately, due to a run of bad luck (Murphy?) he has lost several of these corals recently. If you can spare a frag to bring to the meeting I'm sure He would appreciate it. Especially if you have a colony grown fron one of his frags.
 
Bart may be donating some things (unknowingly). I'm heading down there later on tonight to pick up whatever Mimi doesn't grab and I won't have a good long term home for some of it.
 
How does BBQ sandwiches sound to everybody? The tanks really aren't much to look at now though. I could just tape an old picture on the front of the tank and we could pretend it still looked like that. :) You guys really don"t have to bring any frags but I wouldn't turn them down. ;)
 
Sounds good to me. I'll have a bunch of xenia frags, and potentially some capnella from Bart. I'm sure I can find some odss and ends to bring along for the host;). It'd be all softies/zoas, though. My acros are doing good after the AEFW incident, but haven't put on enough size for me to want/need to frag them yet.
 
Thanks Gary but PLEASE no more capnella! I have tons of it already. It is like a weed, even growing on the glass of my cube tank.

We tried out the new BBQ place in town and it is pretty darn good. I know we are pretty far out and the tanks aren't much to look at. Who all is thinking about coming?
 
I'll see what I have laying around that I can bring. Open for about anything-sps/zoas, etc. (don't have any leathers or caps, so don't worry about that;))?
 
Oh yeah. I just think canella is the one thing I have growing right now. Well, that and my huge devils hand.

My tank is still too young to have anything to frag though...unfortunately.

So...is it just going to be me, Gary, and possibly one or two more guys?
 
Please guys don't feel like you have to bring anything. My tank isn't as bare now anyway. I got a few corals at Emerald Bay's sale today so the tank has a little more color to it.

I could frag you a pink birdsnest, elkhorn monti, blue digi, purple digi, frogspawn, monti cap in green or yellow & about 10 pounds of pom pom xenia. Do any or all of these interest you. Not sure if I will make it though, I'm having sinus surgery tomorrow & I don't know if I will feel like driving. If I don't make it, I could send frags with someone else though.
 
I had sinus surgery last year this time. You had better rest for about 3 days after and make sure you flush your nose out good with the waterpick!
