Yea that's true, but at like half the price Don't get me wrong, I think Hydor has got some good price for the flow pumps, I still have the hydor 4 going in my tank and I will keep it in there until it dies....or I get a new tank

have you thought about moding the k4 with a shure flow prop?

I haven't looked into that yet, how much of an improvement is it? Is it an easy mod or kind of difficult?

i think with that mod it doubles the output and i think, dont quote me on this, but its a drop in mod. ask about it in the diy area. i just know about it a little and i have read it kicks butt.

I just found it here , it is as easy as removing and then replacing the prop...It was stated to double the flow, not sure how they determined that but if I can find that upgrade kit cheap.....I will do it!
