Setting up a 180

Ouch!!!

Ouch!!!

Hey Eric, I will make this promise.....I will update this thread when you start your build thread:)

Or how about when I get the Rio polario this week.

By the way, my clowns have just laid eggs again today....This will be the third time since my post of the first time, I believe on this page, poor eggs only last a day or two though:(

Maybe its time to try and rear them. I have a extra tank laying around I am sure I do. Told the Wife last night I needed to pick up some 2x4's and 1/2" plywood. She asked what for and I told her and she said so what you waiting for. She made the comment she really misses not having the tank in the living room anymore. I am still blown away by Dan's skimmate production with no pump running!!!! :D

Eric

When he gets that beckett installed, it will really be cool.

Oh do you ever have tanks:lol: My wife will not allow me to have another tank until we move:eek1:

You better hurry and start building...You want to make your wife happy...don't you? If she would like a tank upstairs, you better make it happen!

glad to see this tread possted on again. i like old ones to be posted on. eric build that darn tank would ya!!! i wanna see pauls new sump.

Thanks Dave, I have been trying to upload pictures to photobucket but I have been having problems. I will try again a little later and should be posting some new pics here soon....Like I haven't said that before;)

I think Eric is going to actually start building his system soon, but he needs a few more tanks to make it work:D Just Kidding Eric!!

Dave you don't have any room downstairs with all your mad scientist projects. Kind of Like Dan's basement too. LOL.

Also Eric is starting his build getting all the wood together today in matter of fact to build the "L". :D

Eric

Looks Good Paul. Everything still on time for delivery?

The left cryptic side is doing well now...

I kind of had a problem when I put in the refugium mud, made
the whole main tank look like a brown clouded mess. Took a
couple of days to clear up but now it's ok.

Lots of life, it's kind of cool to take a flashlight and see what's
going on.

I purchased the polario 22ml from CustomAquatic, it has more flow than my junk wave2k and even more flow than the vortech, but doesn't have the "cool" factor like the vortech's...nor the high price tag:eek2:

It is still "on time" according to UPS and should be hear on the 17th.

Hey Eric...you were there when I drilled...I just used a marker and tried to keep the drill bit in center....I was pretty close if I remember right:)

Now, the right side, lighted macro algae fuge
with miracle mud...

I have Ceato in the chamber that is fed with the
overflow drain and in the fuge section there is
feather caulerpa, live rock rubble with a base
of Miracle mud.

Yes, the Chiller...I had to put in a bathroom fan vented to the outside to help keep it from running continuously....I also had to add 2 fans to the far right of the main tank to help direct heat from the halide light fixture to the bathroom fan.

All are on timers, the bathroom fan turns on when the light fixture turns on, the other 2 fans turn on a short time later.

It would have been so much easier to have the main tank upstairs and all the sumps, chiller and such downstairs....Some day....:)
