Need some advice here as I am planning out a mangrove tank that's roughly 7' L x 2.5' W x 1.5' H. Here are some questions that hit me at the beginning:
- How thick should I keep my sand bed in order for the roots to grow healthily?
- Is it even safe to plant mangroves in a glass tank? Heard they might break the seams... sounds like War of the Worlds if it happens.....
- How many mangroves can I keep in the tank this size?
- What kind of flow should they get? I am planning on using the maxspect gyres operating at low speed.
- What kind of lighting will be sufficient? Will 3 x Halo LEDs (fresh water version) F110s do the job?
That's about it for now, thank you all!!!
