Sex of Halichoeres Leucurus (Grey Head Wrasse)

Within the Halichoeres Genus, specifically the grey head wrasse, how can you tell the sex?

I currently have a 4" in QT with glass container of sand. He/She burried for a week but has been out and eating for 2 days now.

Haven't seen much at all about this species on here.

Any other comments are welcome. Beautiful fish.

Here is a male leucurus.


Afemale/juvie looks like a female/juvie melanurus which is the top photo here.

Thanks for the replies. Because he's in QT and just warming up, pics are going to be hard to come by. I have a lamp in the room on a timer so it's pretty dim in the tank as well.

He definitely looks like the male in the LA pics.
