Sexing carpet anemone?

My LFS told my friend that the male carpet have a red mouth, while the female one have a white mouth. Are there any truth to this?

Almost all the haddoni carpets I have ever seen have a red mouth. I guess that doesn't mean a lot, but I find it unlikely that males outnumber females by that much.

That's a new one on me. I'd be interested to hear that theory backed-up with data.
