August 21, 2009
Little update on the main tank. Getting ready for the final skim coat, sand and priming. Corals are doing well thus far.
Got a little more done today. Worked on the frag tank lighting and installing the frag tank (48 x 24 x 24)
Since my main tank lighting is running to one dedicated circuit, I need another breakout box for my AC Jr. DC-8 so I could run my frag lighting on a separate circut.
Installed the frag tanks own panel. Starting here with two Ice Cap 250w ballast.
Use my old light rail. Everything installed and hanging, and working.
Next I will try getting the frag tank going.

Main tank is getting closer to being done. Final skim coat applied. Will sand soon, paint and add trim.
Frag tank install, plumbing and test fill.
Cheesy overflow box, will need to fix that.
Input off the Dart
Finall lighting on rack with Lumen Brights and actinics.

I did re-work the frag tank with a new overflow box, much better and can handle the flow. Frag tank running well now.
MP 10 running on pulse, racks all installed.

First coat of paint, need another coat then the trim
And finally some coral shot from the main tank, remember these have only been in this new system about 2 weeks and I changed 90% of the water, so they are still getting thier color back.
