Shallow sand bed.....

Is it possible to have a shallow sand bed in a 210 gallon with four 6100s on a controller?

Probably not if we are talking sugar sand. Coarse sand 3mm or larger should be OK, if you only run one or two pumps at a time. Honestly you probably only need 2 pumps.

Sounds like I will be going bare bottom and leave the sand for the fuge.
