Shallow sps tank

Have you ever experience any jumping fish out of your tank?
'cos the water level is very near to the top of your tank.

Beautiful tank, anyway.

The idea of putting two tangs into my tank was to increase bioload, since I am running oversized skimmer and mostly because my sps got so skinny and too pale. Got those two tangs when they were around 2", and now they are getting too big so little space for them to swim.

Easier ways to deal with it would be to cut back on skimming (some put their skimmers on a timer, and only run them part time), or just feed more.

Nice tank, reefid ... But you should maturely consider getting those tangs out of there, stat, it degrades an otherwise nice nano reef system.

Seriously, that's just plain cruel. Look at the way they swim/interact with eachother, completely unnatural/contrived due to space restrictions/limitations.

Have you no shame in keeping species/specimens which are clearly/utterly a very poor decision, on all accounts ? Makes you appear as an uneducated, careless noob ...

Whilst I agree that the tangs dont belong in this tank, I think the tone of your message is a bit harsh.

I have been following NUMEROUS forums over the years, and even a few international reef forums, where I just browse the forum looking at pictures of SPS and I can tell you that in some countries people do keep fishes in smaller tanks than the rest of us would keep.

I believe polite discussion goes a long way in getting others to really listen to what you have to say and getting them to change.

The OP did explain why he bought the tangs and it seems to me that he acknowledges that the fishes are too big for this tank. He also did mention giving the fish to his friend.

I hope he will catch the fish and give them to someone with a bigger tank. But he does have to catch them first.

How much water do you change out & how often?

Around 10% done weekly

addresing me as uneducated and careless noob that is very rude for me, I believe many people here in this forum also do not agreed that two tangs or even one tang is not suitable for my tank size. But at least they do gave me very good reason and advice very politely, not like you by posting harsh comments that made you more uneducated and careless noob than myself.

The very 1st tang was bought when he was very small and when it got bigger moved to my FOWLR. And purple tank was also have the same history, but then my FOWLR crashed all fishes die and those two tangs survived, and leaving them in a crash tank would be more natural and less cruel for you ? At the same time needed more nutrients for sps tank so moved them to my sps tank. That is enough for you to understand? The shame is on you by posting stupid comments by know absolutely nothing.
