cakeman, don´t you think a 15hr light period, is just too much light ?
Shouldn´t this affect corals, fish in the long run ?

By the way, how do you do for your nem´s not to walk all over your sps ? Amzing tank !! Amazing colours !!

I really only run bright lighting a few hours a day. I have been running this way for 2 months. If anything it has colored up the corals.

They have found a place with less flow and lots of lighting. No need for them to move :dance:

Here is my programming with my Radion Pro light. My corals have colored up very nicely. The growth has been outstanding.

Could you post cloud coverage over the different hours and storm as well ?

I'm not sure how to post the link to my graph so I'll just type it out.

8 a.m. - Day starts
9 a.m. - 20k 25%
11 a.m. - 14k 45%
2 p.m. - 14k 60%
5 p.m. - 14K 45%
7 p.m. - 20k 25%

20% clouds 10% storms

I guess the goal is to mimic a 14k MH set-up with a hour of actinic on each end for a dawn/dusk.

I tinker with these lights so much trying to find that just right set-up but it's just frustrating. So 14k MH are proven to give the growth and color so why not try to mimic that?

Has anyone tried to create a graph for Radion Pros that is close to 400w Radium bulb?



Also if you go to Ecotechs site in there media gallery there is a SPS Dominated video called

Schwing actually has a blog and has his graphs for the Radion Pro for download if anyone is interested.

Has anyone figured out how to use wifi with the radion without pluging in a computer?

Not yet.... But it is coming.

I have a WIFI usb extender.

It goes onto the network and I connect to the radion via wireless to the USB hub to the radion it's self.

The computer does not know it is not connected.

Just got my 2 pro's hooked up last night. Pretty amazing. Started with cakeman's graph. Modified it a little. Looking into schwings graph too. I'm mostly sps. Hope to put my fish and corals back in the tank tonight. I was amazed how wasy it was to hook up and input. I'll get some pics when everything is back in the tank.

Hello,It's my first post on forum.Btw,so sorry about my English because that's not my mother language.I've got a Radion pro on my 35 US Gallon reef tank.I love sunrise and sunset on radions but looks not possible to set on a radion so need two radion I think.If possible to manual set on a radion someone can explain me that how?or just can let me know sunrise-sunset's graphs.And I am still waiting some radion pro's graphs from experienced forum members.Many thanks in advance.Best regards...

You want a slow bell curve graph.

Think of it as a slow gradual cycle to the highest point, then your daytime, followed by a gradual decline to the sunset time of day.

If you set it up like a sawtooth, instant on and instant off, then it will not look do a sunrise/sunset feature.

Chcete zpomalit křivka zvonku graf.

Ber to jako pomalé postupné cyklu na nejvyššÃ­m místě, pak se vaše denní, následuje postupný pokles k západu slunce během dne.

Máte-li jej nastavit jako sawtooth, instant a na okamžité vypnutí, pak to nebude vypadat dělat Východ / západ slunce funkci.

Thanks a lot for reply,I got it but i need to know sunrise-sunset's time by time leds percentage and brightness settings so as original Creating a Traveling Sunrise/Sunset's graphs.For example,time's 06:00 Royal Blue 20,Cool White 5..... Brightness 7 etc etc.If possible let me know about that please,I would appreciate ur help.Many thanks in advance,have a great day...
