I heard about this video from a friend that doesnt even have a tank nor does he belong to reef central. I was talking about predators and he mentioned this video, like 2 days ago. lol thats wierd. Here they think the sharks may eat the octo, and it turns out to be the other way around. I was a bit surprised at how the shark didnt try to fight back.Cool video

When you turn a shark upside down like the octo did, it makes them somewhat imobile. It kind of puts them to sleep. I have seen researchers turn over a tiger shark on its back and it was as calm as could be, They cut open a 4 inch slit, implanted a tracking device, and sewed it up and the shark didn't even flinch.

That was so cool! I swear Octopus are very smart....When you look at them diving, they definitely are looking back at you and thinking, unlike the fish.

I expected some blood, doesn't an octopus gouge out chunks of flesh with it's beak?
Maybe it was just "immobilizing" it as has been suggested and not actually eating or tearing into it yet.
Either way, awesome video.

I would guess real-time as I have seen a mantis bolt across a tank to eat, and they are very fast.
