Shark Week has started

Shark week is here on the discovery channel.
Makes you want to get a giant tank.

I always look forward to this week every year!

I do look forward to it every year but have been dissapointed for it to start by showing reruns. How come the first show that starts shark week is not some new one.

I saw the last 2 shows both last year and the year before.

I look forward to it every year as well. I think the reruns are because there is only so much footage (normal) people are willing to watch. It's all about ratings after all.

I also don't like the over sensationalized shark stories that portray them as evil killing machines. But again that's what gets the ratings

I'm avoiding Shark week this year since I just got SCUBA certified in February... No need to add any stress to what has been enjoyable thus far... Some day maybe I'll get the stones to dive amongst the sharks... I'm guessing that tank of air will go quite quickly on the first dive...

See now you have watched to many shark shows. (just like me) Just don't go in the water carrying fish heads and you'll be fine. More people die from snake bites each year as compared to sharks.
