Shelf life of selcon/zoecon

I'm getting ready to make another batch of blender mush fish food. Typically I'll add some Zoecon (Kents version of Selcon) to the food. I realized I've had the zoecon for at least two years and probably longer. There is no expiration date on the container and it's been stored in the refrigerator the whole time except when I've removed it to make previous batches of food.

I can't tell if it's any good by smelling it or looking at it but I'm wondering if the ingredients have a shelf life like some chemicals.

Label says,"Rich in omega 3 fatty acids,EPA and DHA, and shark liver oil."

I would say throw it away. That stuff is so cheap, I would just go out and buy new stuff, instead of chancing anything....JMO

If it hasn't gone rancid, it should still be good. It will really, really, really smell bad if it's turned :D

hmmm. i remember reading somewhere that selco has a shelf life of 3 months only or so. then again selcon uses a modified version of selco, so i guess its all up in the air =/
