Shell freaks...yep, I'm in that category! We tend to build up rather extensive libraries for shells. Most books are specific to a family and/or region.
I just had a PM requesting info about the "Compendium of Seashells." It's a popular ID book for worldwide shells, especially honing in on families most popular with collectors. Many pictures! Perhaps this is what you're looking for?
