Hi, I was just wondering if my order shiped tonight. I didn't get an e-mail with the shipping information like I normally do. Order number- A2583515. Also I was wondering if you guys ever get Stichodactyla tapetum (mini carpet anemone). Thanks Donald

dfreakonature12,

Thank you for your post. We show that your order has partially shipped today for delivery tomorrow. The email with tracking information should arrive shortly, once the shipment information has been fully processed. The Cerith Snails were able to ship; however the Turbo Snails were not available in the quantity you requested. We will hold the back order for these snails open for 14 days, at which point we will contact you regarding how to proceed.

We are currently checking into the availability of the Stichodactyla tapetum and will post here once we have this information. We appreciate your patience with this matter.

dfreakonature12,

Thank you for your patience while we checked with our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility about the Stichodactyla tapetum. Unfortunately, this is not a specimen that we receive in our facility. These are normally obtained as hitchhikers on live rock. The majority of hobbyists who obtain one of these species receive them through trading with others. You may wish to visit the trading forums here at Reef Central to see if a hobbyist has any specimens available.

dfreakonature12,

Thank you for your inquiry. We have checked with our Aquatics Facility and unfortunately, they do not have a specific time of when the Mexican Turbo Snails will be available. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Your order will remain open for the next nine days. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Thanks for getting back so fast!(just one of the reasons I love the Drs.) Just wanted to ask if my order is going to ship out Monday because I noticed that you guys have the turbos back in stock. Thanks Donald (sorry for asking so many times just wanted to get this red cotton alage taken care of soon!)

Donald,

We do have Turbo snails on our website; however we do not have a large quantity. We anticipate receiving another shipment on Monday. We will call you to confirm when your backordered snails will ship.

I just wanted to say that the snails arrived today, packaging was great as usual! Just one last question, I promise!:D When I started to put the snails in the tank they wouldn't stick to the rocks or the acrylic, I even tried holding the snails for like 5 minutes and they would stick for a minute or so and then they would fall off. So my question is do you have any tips for helping them stick and not fall off? Thanks Donald

Dfreakonature12,

Thank you for your reply. We would recommend letting the snails acclimate to their surroundings without attempting to attach them to the sides of your aquarium. The snails will find their way to food matter on the glass and other areas of your tank, given time and patience.

Dfreakonature12,

Yes, even if they land in the sand, we recommend leaving them alone. If they are upside down, you may turn them over to ensure their foot can reach ground.
