hello,
i obtained a "mini"colony of strawberry shortcake acro. i left it on the substrate for a few weeks (not the best idea). however, tonight i secured it to a rock with some epoxy. the colony had began to encrust pieces of the substrate (aragonite). i brushed a bit of it off, though there still remains probably >12 pieces of the substrate on the bottom, between the epoxy and base of the colony.
my question is- will this little bit of substrate on the bottom cause issues down the road? its an odd question but i'm not sure. i guess im thinking it might be a source for unwanted ammonia and the like? or will it just fuse and be ok? all of my parameters are in order.
any input would be much appreciated
