Should I be concerned?

Here is my new GBTA and for the first couple days it filled out the hole in this rock which is it's home. However, now my Occ. Clowns have taken to it :) and they have wollowed it down into the hole deeper so that it is only showing like in this photo. It should still get light and food, but should I be concerned it is in that deep?

How big is the BTA compared to the clowns? It could be that they are "loving" it too much and causing it to retract a bit.

It is about 4-6 inches in diameter. Maybe a little on the small size for both clowns, but not real small. My concern is more that the hole is about 3" deep and they have pushed it on down in there. I am hoping it will expand and grow and come on back out. I don't want to try and move it myself for fear of hurting it.

That is a bit on the small size for two clowns. I wouldn't be too concerned that the hole is 3" deep, they (( BTAs )) can stretch out their foot quite a bit. If it doesn't come out, could try putting something over that spot -- to keep the clowns away -- to see if that is the reason it is staying retracted.

OK, he was really deflated when I got home tonight. I will check him in the morning, but I may have to separate him from the clowns for a bit. Any suggestions for doing that? I do not have another tank to move them to.

I think it is going to be OK. He comes back out now. I guess maybe he is stillgetting used to his new home and having the clowns bother him all the time. He was out again all day yesterday, not as far as when he was first in there, but close.
