Should I feed my featherduster

I have a feather duster that recently has been spending more time hiding inside its base, stalk, whatever. Do these need any specific feeding? I also have a couple atlantic anemonies, a couple clowns and thier hammerhead anemonie, a few other inverts, a yellow tang and a coral beauty. All in a 65 gal overflow etc etc. Thanks in advance.

I fed mine reef bugs while my tank was fallow but now that the fish are back it filters what they don't catch. If you do feed it directly don't blast the food at it, but rather from behind it.
