Should I go 70w or 150w

Im setting up a 20x27x13" all in one setup. Im gonna be housing lps and sps but gonna try to do mainly sps. My question is do u think i should do 70w or 150w. Im also gonna have 2 24" overdriven T5 on it too. thanks........this is just an experiment project. I want to see if I can maintain having a smaller tank.

150w would give you more placement options for SPS.

150w. Overall a better option as you have more ballast & bulb options (brand, par, color spectrum,...).

+1. You will just have to be more concious when acclimating the corals to the light

2x250'S...14K PHOENIX or 20k USHIOS's ...I mean 150's will work too..what would be cool with the 250's is that you could hang them a little higher and get a cool ripple effect with the shadows.

I know what u mean. On my main tank i switched from 400w t5 to the ATI Powermodule and I dont get that ripple effect no more. I miss it. Im just setting up this smaller tank for the heck of it. Thanks for the input/reply

So no votes for 70w.....Im still gonna overdrive 2 t5. Im just gonna have one simple rock inside. Its gonna be a nice size rock though. Probably gonna have sps on the top part and towards the bottom a couple of lps.

I agree with the 150w. I have a 70w over my 12 gal, it does the job but the bulb selection sucks.

Is the tank 13" tall? If so then I guess I would go with a 150, But if you have your eye on keeping some nice acans or chalice you might want to go with 20Ks.

Do you like radium? With 150w you have the option of getting double ended radium.

Personally id go with 150w plus the T5's. Id just hang the reflector a few inches higher to get a much better light spread and place the SPS anywhere.

150w Radium plus T5's is the way to go I have a 150w Radium over my tank and it's just over 13" deep. If my tank was longer I'd add some T5's for sure.
