I believe it is a haddoni b/c it has a smooth underside.
It anchored itself within several hours of me placing it in the tank. I would say now it has been about a month at least.
2 days ago it unanchored itself and turn 1/4 turn counterclockwise. It is still lying on its side not anchored. The flow of my tank starts at the end where the anemone is. I have a vortech mp40 so the flow does come back to the anemone. The flow is not hitting it at the base of the foot since it is lying on its side.
If I need to anchor it please advise how to go about doing this. I would say the foot is about the size of a baseball in circumference.
Should I dig a small hole in the sand and place it there?? Leave it alone??
I think the reason it has uprooted itself is either current flow which is same for past month or I have a purple lobster (hitch hiker) that doesn't like the foot of the anemone and was probably pinching the anemone.
