here is mine, i hope and pray that by posting the picture will NOT jinx my precious anemone.

I dont know the origin of this anemone, perhaps Africa as it has red foot? but it is the great grand daughter of this anemone:

i bought it from a local reefer who obtained the daughter from Cindy many years ago. and this is the offspring of the offspring.

Nice. I would love a frag if you or him decided to divided/frag. I am trying to get one of this frag for ever and not having any luck.

I got a picture of my Magnifica and Gigantea that sitting right next to each other for ?1+ year. No problem.
I recently placed a Kalk reactor to the tank and my coralline algae just exploded. See the wall of the over flow from the first picture to the second one.

My two ritteri were next to each other for about a year and one began growing larger than the other. The larger one started to crowd the other one out causing it to ball up regularly. I debated moving it but ultimately did and both seem much happier.

Looks awesome. How do you keep your fish from getting eaten? I see you have a bunch of angels.

The fish are smart. I have large tank and they have light come on gradual and turn off gradual. Only time I lost fish to the carpets is when I am working with the tank and scare the fish.
Have not lost them to the carpet for a few years.

Same anemone one year apart in time. The Gigantea is the same too. Much healthier now.

AI Hydra 52 HD running a bumped up SPS AB+ w/ peaks program. My blues in the middle of the day hit 104% on the peaks and the whites are bumped all the way up to 30% in the same peaks. I don't like the blue look as much, but also trying not to fry everything. My mag is now getting probably over 500 PAR.

Where can I find the AB+ program?

Beautiful mags guys! What a species... here are some shots of my magnifica island in the center of my 1300 gallon...

There's a blue gig towards the back... but the three in the center are good examples of the variation of magnifica...

Here's a shot a few years ago to show my pair of leucokranos I've had for about eight years that lives on the island... now they get lost in the anemones...

A better shot of one of the leucs... and the two original mags I got years ago... the one to the left has that amazing purple base that the species is known for... and the one to the right has the blood red base also seen... but the tentacles glow green and have purple tips. I was going to stay with these two until I found the absolutely incredible purple mag you can see to the right above...

Cheers to the anemone forum from an SPS and angelfish guy!:celeb1:

Here's a pic of my friend Tony's mag, probably one of the nicest I've ever seen. I took this pic a few years ago. I need to get back over there and take more pics for him soon.

Yes. You need a better picture of this beautiful anemone so we all can drool all over our keyboard.

He wanted me to come over this week, but I haven't heard from him, so in the meantime heres a side shot, not sure this is drool worthy as a top down money shot:D

I have just acquired a multi-coloured mag.
it has silvery tentacles with purple tips on 90%of the oral disk and the 10% electric green tentacles on the remainder, and a purple foot. I have never seen on like it.
