Show me your best!!!

Nice pics by all. Just an observation I have made and I wonder why. I have seen several threads like this and it seems like most, not all, but most of the pics posted on these threads are of small frags, say 20 polyps at most on a frag plug. I guess what I am trying to ask is, why don't we see large colonies of these very nice looking zoas covering a piece of live rock? Not that I can do better, I can't, but it just seems like most people have frags of zoas about the same size as mine. Is this about the best that I can expect to grow when I get my new tank set up? I have some cheap zoas that look alright, nothing fancy, but they grow like mad, I couldn't kill them if I tried. But the nice zoas that I have, I can't seem to get more than 20 or so on the frag plug.

moto, the purple appeared under more direct lighting and also under warmer lighting. The one pictured in my avatar was under the original current bulbs and it was around a 12k spectrum. My combo now is close to a 20k. These morphed more green after being placed under indirect lighting for 2 months. Theyre also receiving mostly blue lighting since I only have a 4x24w t5 on a 24" wide tank right now.

Yes they are purple death's and Nuclear green's. It was my attempt in grafting the two in trying to emulate the twoface paly or get the Nuclear death swirl.:fun2:

Very nice zoos everyone! Should be getting a nice enough camera this week so I can finally post some pics.

Friday,

I keep fragging what grows out onto the sand bed and give them away! I think I may let them go now and just let them run wild onto the sand. The L.A. Lakers or what ever the other colony is is going strong too...trying to find a new home for it though.

Well mine aren't the new hot fade ones but I think they make a great color combowhen all together in a nice colony.
