Show me your brain!

Here is my brain.........Nothing special but I like it. It's really starting to grow well under my 10k XM's, 250's.

Thanks masterswimmer.

I like it but I didn't want to sound bias in my opinion. It has really fared well in my tank.

You're welcome. I love the color and the fleshy polyps of the lobes looks super healthy. Enjoy it and stand proud ;) .

I bought a 3"red open brain last thursday I'll post pics tomarrow. I have it about halfway up sitting on a rock ledge in a 15" deep tank lit by a 50/50 96w quad CF. Should I move it down?

My purple tang just recently started picking at my green open brain, the one I posted a picture of. Any ideas as to why it would start this behaviour?

Thanks

Here's a pic of my new (of about 12 days) red open brain feeding on a small piece of shrimp.

Here's one after feeding

And here is one of the top view. Is there any need to worry about this? I'm talking about the brown lesion the pink arrow is pointing to.

Is that okay in the rocks or should it be placed in the sandbed?

Fluxion,
I would keep an eye on that brain. It looks a little bleached out and appears that it was damaged at that area where the skeleton is getting exposed. Keep the water quality up and make sure to feed it enough.

Taks for the reply Genin. DO you think I should moe it down in the tank? it's about 2/3 of the way up in a 16" deep tank with a 96w compact flourescent.

i have aquick question about their growth...I got one off a friend, it is about 3inches across...with the right water parameters etc, what type of growth should I expect?
