Show me your corner overflow tanks, looking for aquascaping ideas.

I am starting a new tank, a Marineland 56G column.
It has a corner overflow that is rather unsightly and I would like to see what people have done to hide the overflow.

I had an idea to use a combination of LR and agrocrete to scape my tank. I got the idea while splitting firewood and saw some of the mushrooms that grow on tree trunks, they project like horizontal shelves from the tree. I would like to replicate this with the agrocrete and construct a series of 4-5 tiers attatched to the overflow.

What do you think? Any other suggestions?

Here's a pic of mine. I like the corner overflows as I think they take up less valuable real estate. Its hard to tell but the rocks are all free standing about 3-4" from the back of the tank.
