Hey, thanks!

I really like the color of the bulb. When I had it running on my electronic ballast, I found to to be very very blue, but when I switched to a PFO HQI ballast, it became much brighter and whiter. It does still give off a nice blue hue though.

mummra100769 - sweet aquascaping. that is some wierd rock. is that the plate rock or whatever it is called they were selling a while ago...i haven't seen it or looked for it in quite a while. will make some nice places for SPS to grow

big ben: we ordered it and our plan for this tank is to make a softie display out of it.xenia,zoanthids,leathers,fingers,ricordea and many others.thank you for the comps.

lunchbucket:you can find it named table or shelf rock and it is from tonga,as i said above this tank will have mainly softies in it but we are adding some scrolling yellow cups and some pretty sweet monties to carry the theme on.,thanx for the complements.

i will update with pics when needed,all this rock is uncured so it might be a week or two before we start adding corals.

here are some pics with the canopy and lighting in place.we went with 8 vho bulbs (4x10k/4xactinic). all the white light is in the back all the actinic light is in the front giving the tank a sense of depth.

so we are putting some sps on the top with less light demanding corals being added as you go down in the tank.chili corals and dendronepthea will be hung upside down on the lowest ledges.
