Nice tank. What kind of powerheads are those. Lots of people seem to use them.

Hahhh! I wish that was my fish. No, I stole that off the web. But I have spent a fair amount of time fishing for them and seen them grey hounding like that. Unfortunately, I have not been lucky enough to actually catch one yet.

love the stand. I'm working on one pretty much exactly like that as we speak. However, it will be Oak. Yours looks like Poplar with clear (pine) trim.

keep posting pics

only thing i would change is i would have added a TON of unions for easy of plumbing redo's

Dyakiwchuk, do you have any more pics/info on the light bracket. I just built some 6" tall acrylic legs for my lights and it looks kinda goofy. I'm thinking I might like your idea better and I'd like some more info.

Thanks!
Aaron

I did something similar using parts from Lowes. The design allows me to easily raise or lower the reflector with the turn of a couple of nuts.

The design also allows you to swing the reflector out of the way to allow access to the tank.

and here is a pic with the cover on it.

I've got two Seio 1100's in my 24" cube
