show me your CUBE!!!

Here is my rimless cube. I have mine around 3.5 inches below which serves both form and function.I personally like the aesthetic of the water line below the top of the tank. Functionally i can drop my lights really low below the tank dimension reducing light spillage, moreover i can utilize my MP40s to the fullest with a 3 inch wave in short pulse mode.

14" Cube

14" Cube

Well had to tare down big shallow tank and now this is what i have.

its a 14" cube from advanced acrylic. useing my old water change MAG 2 for a return pump. took most of my branch rock and some live rock and created this little number. the tank is mostly sps but i did manage to keep one clam, some pink, gold, and red and white zoa's, and my favroite chalices. also by popular demand (my 2 childern) BOB our first saltwater critter hes a coral banded shrimp. useing one of my custom led pendents staring 14 crew XR-E RB leds and 10 cree XR-E White leds. want to add some leds for a moonlight. still need some 3/4" locline, need to get a MP10W ES, a sump just useing a rubermaid bin from walmart, need to add doors to the stand, and maybe a skimmer.

Just confirming as i dont see it on there site..
Where did you get it from?
Price?

It's just a slightly taller version of their 93g (30x30x24) vs the ~105 I got (30x30x27). Like most builders, marineland will custom build just about anything. I just hit up my LFS for a quote.

That is a sweet tank and view. I don't think I would ever leave that chair sittting there. What floor are you on?

Hey Matt...Im on the 25th floor. I do spend many hours staring at the tank...although as you are aware, last week's outbreak really screwed things up. Im getting over my bryopsis by overdosing the magnesium...seems to be working although ive lost several sps' over the past week. But i do believe i will be ready for your frags this week!

Anyone want to trade cubes? I have the Marine land 150G DD looking to down size to something around 24", the 150g DD at 36" x 36" x 27" is just too big for the space, I have a stand to. Willing to travel.

OK fine, I"ll move this to the want to trade forum, but with all the cube lovers I couldn't resist!
