Well what can I say Wow spectacular looking Sps. I have a few questions if you don't mind. How fast does that green slimmer grow as I see it throughout your entire tank? I have the blue one with the bright purple tips and was thinking about foraging it and placing it through my tank like you did.

Second question: can you share with us your Spec? Like light,dosing,husbandries, how long has this magnificent system been up and running?

Third question: is that the largest purple monser colony in captivity?

Skimmer = SWC 160 skimmer, bubble magnus BM T01 dosing pump 20 gal refugium &
72"X24"X24" sump half full. of water & 100 LBS of rock
I run 1/2 cup of gfo & 1 cup of carbon in 2 little fishes reactors.

alk= under 8.0dkh, Ca=400 PPM. MAG= 1300+PPM phos= 0.04 hanna

dosing rate: alk =120ml a day ca= 118 a day dosed 24 times a day
@ trueblackpercula this tank is nearly 1 year, all of the sps came from this tank that i took down, a 48x48x24 cube

& transferred to this 65 gal temp tank around nov 2011

and then to the present tank around july 2012
Color on some corals improved , some not so much.
that the pm colony is not the biggest, the color was deeper with the halides.
@mike de leon , growth on some corals maybe the same rate as my halide system
which was 4- 400 watters . The green slimers grow pretty good though.

Here is my cube before it crashed. This was the closet i got to having a nice looking sps tank. But I have started to rebuild it and hope someday I can get back to this level.

There a few choices out there, but I have a 30 x30 x 30 and my radion G1 is amazing. I keep all sps and they are all doing very well. I have had the extra money I would go with the Pro version .

Don't remember maybe 3 or 4 months and I put the TIR lens on them. I will say its am amazing light fixture. They even give you software to use it as you like.

I have a large lumenarc 20 x 20 reflector with a single 250 w MH bulb on mine. It's been working awesome on my 30 x 30 cube for 2 years now. I think a guy in my local reef club as the same set up for sale, do you want me to ask him how much and if he'll ship?

I have used the Razor and have had some success on certain corals. Had difficulty with red spa though. So I am skeptical about LEDs. Can you please post pics of your tank??

I ended up going with with a Chinese light for my 36x36 cube.
4 22" fixtures offset for complete coverage.
