Jack, I went acrylic. I hope it works out for me and I am going to try to stay on top of it. I know they scratch easier and all but it's going to be a beautiful tank!

Yeah I am going to try n stay on top of that.
Any recommendations on sand for the tank? I have sand dwelling fish so I want to keep that in mind but don't want super fine grain either

Tropic Eden Reeflakes from Premium Aquatics, excellent grain size and the cleanest sand I have ever used.

Awesome tank! How many and what kind of pumps you got in there? Build thread?

sorry, no build thread. water movement = (2) TUNZE 6105 on 24v with wide mouths, (1) 6095 24v, 1" dia sea swirl with C-AO- NS70 external pump.
lit up by LEDs, (2) Apollo reef black box fixtures & (2) E-shine 30 watt strip
lights &(1) OC reef Par 38 bulb.
 
Pluto that's a ton of flow in that 77 gallon tank looks amazing tho, that makes me want to go back to barebottom

Skimmer = SWC 160 skimmer, bubble magnus BM T01 dosing pump 20 gal refugium &
72"X24"X24" sump half full. of water & 100 LBS of rock
I run 1/2 cup of gfo & 1 cup of carbon in 2 little fishes reactors.

alk= under 8.0dkh, Ca=400 PPM. MAG= 1300+PPM phos= 0.04 hanna
