I was planning a Lumenbright large pendant over my 30x30, then I won an AI Sol on facebook so i was going to use those. But I just don't really like the point source lighting of LEDs, even with optics I found it hard to place corals that would allow them to thrive. Things changed colors as well. So I am now going to run an 8x39w Aqua Medic Oceanlight over my cube with ATI bulbs.

Update on my two year old 150G DSA cube. I finally finished the basement around the cube!

Interesting cube, how thick is that wall? why didnt your go flushed? Im in the planning stages of an inwall setup and maybe I could go th same way you have your tank.

Good bump...I forgot to come back and post an update...

Unfortunately (in the short term), I've had some die off since the tank switch. Fortunately (in the long term), I now get to buy my favorite corals I've never had room for.

I made a few, ummm, changes. I now have about $1500 of reef equipment (skimmer, qt system and a monster cree setup) up on craigslist.
