Show me Your Fancy STANDS!!!

I'm not finished with it yet and sorry it's not a reef but here's my 180g rimless planted discus tank with heated concrete bar and stand. I might acid stain it or not I'll see how it looks once it's done.

Nice looking tank. At first I thought you were going with an industrial look with the metal lathe. :)

Is it going to be a smooth, stucco finish?

LOVE it. I did concrete countertops in our new house and love the look. I'd leave it gray personally. Nice contrast with the lush planted tank.
Great idea to heat the concrete too.

My DIY Stand and Canopy

My DIY Stand and Canopy

I made this stand about tow years ago and just completed the canopy last week. I built the canopy to be a Radion/T5 combo fixture.

Very cool tank. Do you have a link to this build? Was trying to find the discus but didn't find any?

Can anyone help me ? I built a stand from inspiration from one on here. And I'm not sure how to attach my front panel. I do want it to be removal. Any advice would here. Here's the stand without the panel on it.

And here's the panel before it was finished but the photo is for an idea.

Z brackets for picture hanging - secure, aluminum, and way stronger than magnets.

Moving forward on my DIY stand. it's going to have an epoxy resin top, fingers crossed. I saw Mr.Bean Animal use this epoxy for an in wall build. I'm going to have a decorative border with small plastic tiles my wife and I made under the resin.

Thank you everyone! It is going to be sanded smooth and probably left the natural grey concrete color. I'm still researching how I'm planning on sealing it if anyone has any recommendations. I might turn it into a reef down the road. I broke down my last big reef tank about three years ago and I'm definitely missing it. I'm starting to think the reef was easier now that I'm doing 60g water changes twice a week to keep the algae at bay and keep the Discus happy.

Thank you! Yeah I thought about doing a build thread but figured since it wasn't salt I would wait till I converted it down the road a bit. I'm thinking of building a small heated greenhouse pond for the Discus at some point which will free up this tank for a nice reef. You can check it out in Instagram though. My handle is 4roaming
