It's a Blasto...

Is this the specs for your lighting:

"The H4 design produces PAR light output levels equal to a 400W MH 20K. It uses 40% less energy than the Metal Halide Fixtures it replaces. The life of the LED's is 50,000 hours, so it almost eliminates metal halide and fluorescent bulb replacements."

If so--I am envious-no wonder the fantastic colour in that blasto

That's one of the reasons why I got it. One of my LFS has all sorts of lighting combos on their tanks all next to each other so you can see the difference in each. Different kelvin and wattage on MH w/ VHO's, and the Solaris. They were running it very blue one day and had a frogspawn in the tank. It looked radioactive. Thanks for the link.

I'm awful at pictures but it is lps dominated, soon to be upgraded to a 135. I'm hoping to pick up an Aussie elegance for it.

Ok ladies and gents. I don't know if there is a similar thread that has been buried, but somewhere in a thread similar to this in 07' a guy posted pics of his LPS only rimless Cube that was fricking ridiculous. The sandbed was littered with exotic scolys among other things. I have been searching for it since I saw this thread about 10 minutes ago. Anyone else remember this tank or can post a link? Its killing me and I want everyone else to see his tank as it is about as good as it gets.

what was the price on it--at 40 percent less energy costs it might be worth switching out my 150watt halides.

Great looking tanks all.

Bumping this as there has to be more LPS reefs worth showing out there. :)

I just added a Frogspawn a day ago which did not make these shots. Still in progress, as always...

I have 4 tanks and this is the only one that's almost completely LPS. It's nothing fancy. My 7 year old daughter wanted a tank and quite frankly I didn't have another room to put one in besides hers, so I set it up about 5 months ago. I got the LR/sand/my outgrown corals and even the water from one of my three other tanks so it was ready to go.

took these today....

I have two torches, one big frogspawn, a frag on the very top (probably can't see it), a hydnophora, three mangroves, and a derasa clam that will be moved to my MT really soon...

the orange at the top is actually some kind of sponge, not a coral.

All these corals were in my DT at one time. I just decided to put all my "stinging" corals into one home together since they were either killing other corals or fish. So, these are the corals that have been "bad", but yet instead of giving them to my LFS I just made them a new home!! :) Excluding the clam, I've had all these for close to 2 years
