Show me your LPS dominated reeftanks!

This is my old 180 (picture taken about 10 years ago lol) but it was all LPS and a couple softies.
I really enjoyed it, now I am stuck in SPS land but I may go back to LPS some day, they were so much easier to keep and grew like crazy!

Fantastic tank. What are the lighting specs?

Peace,

Chip

I've got 3 54W T5's with SLR reflectors and 1 VHO actinic running off a IC660. I'm waiting for the rest of my stand-offs so I can add 3 more T5's and get rid of the VHO.

Simion, great looking tank! Love the colors.

Agu, what type of lightning do you have for your 10g?

And Reefkoi, Wow that tank is impressive to say the least! Do you have any more pics of it?

why this thread has not made thread of the month I'll never know

Actually does anyone know the criteria for a thread being nominated?

My 10 gallon LPS tank,

nice looking tank Agu--its nice to see a moderator participating in show and tell--with the experience that moderators have I'll bet there are alot of impressive tanks worth showing;)

Bringing this to the top, hoping for more wonderful pics of LPS dominant reefs.

Guys. All these tanks look AWESOME. My question is, how do you keep so many LPS with the 20-30x tank voloume flow going that some of you have for the SPS in the tanks. Thants a lot of flow!!

you are right--its in the positioning of the power heads and some coral husbandry to boot

eg I had frogspawn that just did not like the turbulant flow from a korilia 4--eventually I moved the frogspawn just a few inches and it was happy again,
I have mushrooms growing in a very calm corner of my tank.

it is doable though--I have about 55x turnover in my 120 now and every one is happy

Same here i have almost 50x turnover. Its all in the positioning.

Bumping this cause i know there has to be even more tanks out there worth showing. Great tanks sofar! :)

Here's one of mine. :p

It's 4ft(L) x 2.5ft(W) x 2ft(H), think in gal, it's about 100gal.
Lighting: 2x MH 150W and 4x T5
Wavebox and a Tunze nano (the smallest)

very nice--I like the way you have built your reef esp with that channel between

Thanks! This tank acts as a partition between the living room and the garden. My friend did the scaping for me. It's been great and I have been able to place lots of coral on 3 sides. :D

I've got a Tunze 6101 on a singlecontroller and my LPS's can not take the flow at full bore. I needed to keep the smaller fuse in it, and turn the little white knob on the connector down to 1/2 in my 70 gallon LPS reef.

Ming, great looking tank, like the rockwork.

Gadgets, thats a lot of really nice acans/mussas, lovely colors.

Bumpin' for more pics! :)
