What kind of lighting are you using--that looks like a red Lord on the bottom of the subtrate. The colour is much richer then mine

Thanks! At the time of the pic I was using a Tek 4 bulb fixture, but i have switched it out to a 250w 20K radium since then. Heres a close up of that lord . My camera phone makes it look redder than it is.

Really good for your 2nd year salt. You got softies, polyps, etc. mastered, few LPS. DO you plan to mess with SPS?

thanks since xmas I have messed with three--the bluetip in the corner is my pride sps because it was almost all dead when given to me and is coming back great. the second I only paid 10 bucks for because it was all white and the lfs was going to throw it out--its turned slightly pinkish again. The montipora in the third was one big piece but broke in half when I was glueing it--I like it better in two pieces anyways
