I got my first coral, a small xenia colony. My plan is to make this a mangrove/ softie reef with a caulerpa garden on the side. I think it will be something a little different.

I like the idea but xenia spread like wildfire. Unless you want all the rockwork to be covered with xenia you might want to set the rock aside from the main scape. But I do like the upgrade. Always fun to see a happy mantis!

I am going to do that. Next time i get to my LFS I will buy another piece of rock just for the xenia to grow on away from everything else. If i just set it over there in the sand the doctor would use it for a door lol
